My Simple Life ♥

A HIGHLY recommended album to all my frens out there. Its 蕭閎仁首張同名創作專輯 Xaio Hong Ren Debut album!!!!! Launched during May '08. Sori, I noe I'm always not updated... the albums tat i recommend had been released for dunno since hw many decades.. lol. But I just got to know this newcomer recently... Hmm.. Maybe I shld sae I've heard of him but I heaven heard of his songs... until recently when I watched Youtube showing By2, 蕭閎仁 & other singers in 娛樂百分百.

WOW!! That's my 1st reaction when I heard him singing... He's really a great & talented singer. Almost all the songs in his album were written and composed by him. I luv his music style... He not only sings Chinese song but oso tai yu songs... and he makes me change the impression of tai yu songs. I thot it will be very tai, but NO.... He had beautifully mixed the three diff languages (English, Mandarin & Tai yu) together into his music.. e.g 看袂落去, 王寶釧苦守寒窯十八年... He oso incorporate Jin Ju (Chinese opera) into his songs. If I'm not wrong, he won the best Newcomer in TW Golden Melody Award '08.


看袂落去 - Mixes of Mandarin and tai yu.. with Tai Yu rap.. thumbs up.. 166Nice song!!! One of my favourite.. You'll move to the groove..


王寶釧苦守寒窯十八年 - My highly recommended song. That's the song I heard him singing in 娛樂百分百. (I wanted to share the video, but It has been removed.. sob) Finally a singer who had really touched me, I almost cried or maybe shld be I cried whenever I hear this song. He's so far the 1st singer who touched me with his great handling of his emotions and powerful vocal in this song. Some songs had touched ppl heart bcos of the help of MV (e.g Tong Hua) But upon listening to this song, pictures started to flesh in my mind without a need to watch the MV. I had goosebumps when I hear him singing LIVE. This song incorporate jin ju and tai yu.. It oso gives me the feeling of 3 music incorporate into 1, as u listen carefully... at first its slow ballad, then it brings us to another emotion, faster beat then a finale with a climax and finally ended beautifully. Really a GREAT song!! 屌!


只要你在 - This song reminds me of TANK. His vocal is slightly resembles of Tank. They used to be gd frens who formed a band in a pub with Yuming (2nd season Xing Guan Bang Champion).


未完成的愛 - A nice sentimental song.


愛是什麼鬼 - Another song that incorporate Jin Ju. Very catchy. Groovy...172


連貝多芬都想告訴你 - Started with a music played with grand Piano. Not sure if its a piece of Beethoven classical music. ( Cos of the tittle of the song) Sorry, I know nothing abt classical music, so pls pardon me if I've said wrongly. I like this song. Mixing of classical and pop song. It feels like watching opera. I like his zhuan ying. Great song!


成名在望 - This song is definitely written for him. 成名在望.. You'll be 成名... I thot its written by him, but its written by 林尚德. This song is obviously describing him...

你是我的樹頭 - This is a Tai Yu song. I don't understand what's he singing. But it moved me... A sad ballad.. Nice!!

I'll rate 4.5Stars_y out of 5 stars. A MUST BUY album!! As he's still a newcomer, so the other half star is a room for improvement for the next album. Go and grab his album while stocks last!!
