My Simple Life ♥

Today I've finally bought my i8 cam batt charger... I've been wanted to buy the USB cable, but I just cant find it... I even told my fren to buy it as my bday present. lol... She went to alot of shops n finally saw 1 tat sold @ $60+.. But I told her not to buy as Im afraid it might not be compatible.

So i called the samsung customer service last sat to inquire abt it... they sae will called me again.. But till now I still haven received any calls. So I decide to bring along my cable n battery to find if any shop sell it.

Today after work, I went to Lucky Plaza to take a look.. and YES They sell it.. they have the batt charger not the USB cable, as the cable will only sold at the samsung centre.. n it cost $62!!! But I bought it at cheaper rate $40...

Uncle: "I'll sell you at $62."

Me: " Wah... So ex! Is there any discount?"

Uncle: "What price do you want?"

Me: "Hmmm.. maybe $50?"

Uncle: "Ok.. $55?"

Me: "Hmm.. Its ok.. I'll tink first."

Uncle: "What about $50?"

Yup... That's the price that I stated.. but its still so ex... I shld have said $30.. regretted.

Me: "Er...

its ok its ok... I'll look around first."

When Im about to go..

Uncle: "Ok.. $40. Im not going to earn money. I'll offer you $40."

And of course.. I was tempted. N I finally bought it.

While on the way to settle my payment, I was abit regretted. I feel that I was been conned. Cos I still find it expensive. I don't believe that it charged so ex.. I noe they still earn profit even thou they sold it @ $40. So after I bought it, I went to other shops n look ard (but still inside Lucky Plaza).. They quoted me the same price - $40, after discount. I still tink That Im able to find it somewhere at even cheaper price..

Then I search on net... and saw the charger @ ebay at $22.50!! Wah.. it's such a big diffenence!!!

I know I was conned!! I shld have bargain for even a lower price.

N while I was exploring the net, I saw a forum discussing abt 'Guides To Prevent Being Conned By Dishonest Shops In Singapore'. They sae that most shops at Sim Lim & Lucky Plaza were blacklisted!! Shops at lvl 1 of Sim Lim and lvl B1 of Lucky plaza were black shops. N I bought my charger at LVL B1!!!

So gals and guys out there!!

Be more careful when you purchased any electronic goods.

Do more research before you decide to buy anything!

Don't end up like me!!
